Building Creation Standards

levels IN REVIT

1.

SETUP LEVELS FIRST

 

​Setup Levels before creating / adding any objects to scene

​

2.

SET OBJECTS TO CORRECT LEVEL

​

ALL Objects must be assigned correctly to its corresponding level (Walls, Openings etc.)

 

 

 

3.

ACCURACY

​

Heights for EVERY Level must be checked, double checked and triple checked to ensure its accuracy

 

 

 

4.

EVERY MAJOR VERTICALLY ELEVATED ELEMENT MUST HAVE A LEVEL MARKER​

- Major vertically elevated elements include

  • interior levels 

  • Mezzanine floors

  • Low walls 

  • Balconies

  • Top of Lintels

  • Finish Floor Level

  • Ground Level

  • Under Ground Walls

- Major levels must have a Blue Level marker

- Reference levels must have a BLACK Level marker (These levels do not need associated plans)
